Jules Goins

Jules Goins is the Director of Development & Operations at Dancing Grounds. Born in Houston to New Orleans natives and raised in New Orleans since he was 10, Jules is a graduate of St Augustine High School (1997) and New York University (2001), with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. He has worked as a copy editor, reporter for the Louisiana Weekly, technical writer, content strategist, training coordinator for Public Allies New Orleans, and a grant writer for multiple non-profits. Jules also served as an AmeriCorps VISTA in New Orleans through Tulane University with Neighborhoods Partnership Network as a volunteer coordinator and as an AmeriCorps VISTA Leader in Boston through UMASS Boston with The Transmission Project, developing online trainings and reviewing partnership applications.
