Have you ever wanted to teach a class at Dancing Grounds? This is your opportunity to show us what you've got!  We are looking to expand our roster of classes and teachers that can teach regular weekly classes and/or special workshops.  Complete THIS FORM to be considered for a teaching slot during our trial class week. (TRIAL CLASS WEEKS: DEC 11-21.)

Teachers must have a: 
 - Passion for teaching adults of all levels, abilities, and backgrounds
 - Passion for building community and relationships with students
- Interest in developing their craft as a teacher and receiving feedback on your teaching methods and class structure
- Strong background in the dance style they want to teach (either formally from a classroom or well-practiced and versed in a street or social dance style) 

We welcome experienced and new teachers. We are especially interested in dance genres including (but not limited to) dance fitness, vogue, latin, social dance, breakdancing, and jazz. 


Dancing Grounds Summer Internship  

Dancing Grounds hosts an annual internship program for high school and college students interested in dance education and nonprofit arts administration.

Work-Trade Receptionist Program

Dancing Grounds is looking for volunteers year-round to serve as receptionists during adult classes. Receptionists work one 3-hour shift a week and get free adult classes in exchange for their time.  People of color and LGBTQ encouraged to apply.

Dance Instructors
