 Rosalyn Sanders

A native of New Orleans, LA., Rosalyn attended the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts. During her junior year in high school she was invited to attend the dance program at The Juilliard School in NYC where she attained her BFA (Bachelor of Fine Art) in Dance. In 1999 she joined Ailey II and after 1 season became a member of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. She has toured extensively throughout the world. In the summer of 2011 she moved to Miami, FL. where she began her dance teaching career. There she taught for such reputable dance programs as the Thomas Armour Youth Ballet, New World School of the Arts and was the direct of Norland Middle School’s Center for Visual & Performing Arts Dance Magnet program. Rosalyn recently returned to New Orleans and is pursuing a Master of Arts Administration degree from the University of New Orleans. She is working with Dancing Grounds as Graduate Assistant.
