When can I sign up for a membership?
You can sign up at any time throughout the course of the year through the Zen Planner portal on our website, over the phone (504-535-5791), or in-person at the studio. Your 6-month or 12-month membership contract will begin on the date that you purchase it.
Do I need to sign a physical contract?
No. By purchasing a membership and providing your credit card information you are agreeing to the terms and conditions outlined in the FAQs.
Will my membership automatically renew at the end of the 6- or 12-month period?
It’s up to you! We can set up your membership to automatically renew or terminate at the end of the 12-month period.
Is there a penalty if I miss a payment or want to cancel my membership?
A $5 fee is applied if your card is declined more than once. A $200 cancellation fee for a 12-month contract and a $100 cancellation fee for a 6-month contract is applied if you terminate your contract early.
What are the requirements of purchasing a membership?
Members must provide Dancing Grounds with a full name, cell phone number, and email address, and valid credit card or debit card on file.
How will I be billed for my membership? How can I pay? When are payments withdrawn?
Payments will be automatically withdrawn on a monthly basis with a valid debit or credit card on file. Please notify us if your card is lost or stolen and update your information with us. You can select the dates on which payments are withdrawn. We do not accept cash or checks for membership payments.
What is Zen Planner?
Zen Planner is the software system we use to manage membership contracts, run payments, and track member benefits.
When will I receive my membership gifts?
You will receive your guest passes and water bottle or tote bag (for 12-month members) at the studio. If you sign up via phone or email, please remember to ask our receptionist for your gift when you come in for class!
What kinds of classes are included in the unlimited class memberships? How many are offered per week?
We guarantee a minimum of 18 classes per week (usually 21-25). Class offerings and schedules vary depending on season, instructor availability, studio availability, and popularity. DG is closed on all major holidays. For detailed class schedules, click here.
Can I receive a charitable tax deduction on my membership fees?
While your membership fees help subsidize the cost of our youth programs, they cannot be used for a tax deduction because payments are being made in exchange for services (i.e. unlimited adult classes).
Where can I learn more about the programs I am supporting?
