Chanice Holmes is a working artist and a native New Orleanian. She is a dancer, performer, choreographer, educator and a recent graduate of Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia, where she finished with her Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree in Dance. She has studied and performed works by various notable artists/companies such as Urban Bush Women, Ballet Hispanico, Forsythe, Complexions, T. Lang Dance Company, Nicholas Leichter, Jesse Zaritt and more. She is currently serving as a dance instructor at Arise Elementary and is a substitute for classes such as modern, dancehall and Afro-Modern at Dancing Grounds. When she is not at Dancing Grounds, Chanice is teaching ballet and modern with the New Orleans Ballet Association and also developing her brand as an artist. Check out IAMCHANICE on YouTube.
